Here's the thing: I don't quite remember the price I bought them for, so I'm selling them for an adjusted price of $45 each (which is the current price of 40 Euros -> 47ish USD rounded down to a nicer number).

So! There are two ways this can go.

1. Full resale of $111 (this includes her non-Dainty version as I'm fairly sure that has to go with her per policy).

2. Partial resale of $76 plus a MYO slot.

I'm leaning towards option 2 if it comes to pass. Just in case this gets jumped on by a bundle of people, this will not be FCFS. I'm probably going to randomly roll between people and see who gets the sale.

Hey hey, everybody! I've got a special opportunity for you guys.

Starting today, I am holding a contest, and for it I would like you to...

Design me a lovely Husbando or Waifu!

I'm in the mood for some beautiful art candy ladies and men that I can feast my eyes on, and because I have no idea what I want, I'm leaving the design choices in your hands.

Let's start with the terms and rules:

- No NSFW art. Ken/barbie nudes and lingerie/undies are okay but I don't want everything hanging out on a reference.

- One entry per division only.

- Do not pick on other contestants for any reason. Just don't.

- I would like to ask that you craft a new design for this contest and not re-use/advertise one you have laying around.

- Humanoids only this time, sorry folks ;3;

- If the contest gets less than 5 entries by the deadline and it doesn't seem like anyone is calling for an extension, I may cancel the contest and just compensate all winners for their time (consolation prize TBD but no less than $10).

- Extensions may be given depending on the state of entries and entrants by the deadline.

Now, I ought to go into more detail about what you're doing, so here are the instructions and details:

You are designing me a handsome man and/or woman, and you will be giving me this character at the end of the contest (in exchange for your prize, of course).

(I would like to note that, if you design a non-binary or androgynous character for this contest, they will still be accepted and treated properly, though I am unable to open a separate division for them at this time.)

Second, some traits that apply across genders:

- Warm color palettes

- Red/blue/yellow palettes

- red/blue/black/white palettes (there might be a pattern here...)

- Modern aesthetics with a unique/vaguely fantasy twist

- Sci-fi/cyberpunk looks

- I like mages

- Simple, easy to replicate designs

- Redheads, but also red-eyed blondes? (there is no need to stick to that by any means)

Now, for Men, my design preferences are something like this:

- HIMBO AESTHETIC. I don't even know how to qualify this anymore, but if the guy is a sweetie musclehead or charming with a dash of dense, god I love it.

- Long hair, down or in a ponytail. (I'm obsessed with Ferdinand's post-timeskip look from FE3H, oops)

- I might not say no to a prettier guy, with a studious look.

- My mage preference scoots a little more towards the masculine side.

Next, for Women, I like things like these:

- I like a woman who is sexy in an intensely elegant way.

- A woman who could be awesome with a sword (or improvised sword).

- Lady mages are fine too.

- S-Some cleavage is fine... I'd, uh, lean towards a decent bust, I think.

- I wouldn't be averse to something like a grown-up magical girl design. A bit sleek, not so frilly, radiates power.

- Did I mention I love the bodysuit + overskirt look? Because I do.

- I like herbos too! Please pick me up and carry me on your shoulder, strong lady...

I would like to note that these guidelines are not the be-all end-all. You absolutely do not need to toss every trait onto a single design; in fact, I encourage maybe straying a little, because I have a habit of taking in unexpected things. Be creative and be awesome!

Now, for the best part: Prizes!

Here's how prizes will go. There will be two winners in each division (male designs and female designs). 1st prize gets $50, 2nd prize gets $30. Honorable mentions will also be highlighted... and potentially inquired about later. >>

If your art prices are typically higher than these values, please feel free to enter anyway. I might be willing to negotiate if your art is chosen for one of the winning spots.

EDIT: It would really help if I put the deadline, wouldn't it? Entries are due by November 21st! Extensions may occur if needed, however.

I think that's it for now! I'm not going to make this a requirement because I know some of you just want to get to drawing (and y'know, this step means fiddling with Eclipse), but I would appreciate it if you spread the the word about the contest in a journal or poll!
